Course Overview

This course is entitled “Research Methods” students of LL.B.9th semester, are required to complete the course outline by attending regular classes through interactive sessions as well as carefully following the URL links of e-recorded lectures on all topics; the semester shall comprise over two terms 3 months each; there are total 48 credit hours of course work as per rules framed by UOB; three credit hours per week. The Research Methods shall consist of following chapters and topics;

Goals and Objectives

Students attentively attending classes would boast in understanding the basic concepts of Research Methods, that would enable them perform practical assignments by visiting District Jail and collecting data and analyzing the same, as well some of the students may also be assigned skills oriented task of case study by visiting courts and lawyer’s chambers, some of the students may also be given task to visit Honorable High Courts of Balochistan for collection of data about cases.

Expectations from Student

Students are expected to adopt all rules and regulations as enforced by various statutory bodies of University of Balochistan and Directions from Administration of University Law College issued time to time in circumstances.

Students also expected to maintain class decorum during class hours and attentively participate in the classes held either in regular classes of interacted through “interactive Sessions” they are obliged to fully links URL , or youtube channel for thoroughly understanding lectures, students must keep intact with their LMS accounts so that they should be awarded of any updates from UOB.
