I got excited to listen such a great author about reading of maximum books . We'll i really love and learn how to read maximum books and his method . Matt Morris said that what ever he read out, he wrote that in his personal diary . I think it is the best way to collect information and keep it for long time . The second point is that he said reading is like giving growth to the mind .I think when a mind gets better growth will be able to bring out better ideas . Mind gets more and more information through reading . Hence it is quite enough for mind to read and gets maximum reading skil.

Those who are habitual of reading books who can better understand the points of Matt Morris. I have learned alot from this video That How reading books will help you in your mental growth. The idea of highlighting the points and rewriting in journal or dairy was influential.

I used to read books since I was 12. No doubt books are the only help for mental growth in order to be successful in every field of life.

Recently I Have read the book "WHY NATIONS FAIL?" which is written by two writers Daron Acemoglu  and James A. Robinson.

This book explains well how the poor is becoming poorer and the Rich is becoming Richer respectively. Why some nations are prosperous and others are below poverty line.

They also argue that in order to understand the difference, you need to go right back to early Colonialism in the 16th and 17th centuries

The writers discussed main theories :

The book is based on two major theories: the first theory explains the drivers of democratic and dictatorial regimes, while the second one goes a step further and explains how democratic regimes promote economic growth while dictatorial regimes prevent it.

I recommend you all This book.

"WHY NATIONS FAIL ?"

by Nabeeha ilyas s/d/o Muhammad ilyas -
The points or Knowledge he (matt Morris) was giving about 'how to read a book' in his video was amazing and very helpful.
well my first take away is that we more often during reading books  highlights the golden points but we do not remember them so rewriting them before highlighting them is a golden idea
My second takeaway it's quite important like a Treasure for me that he was learning and working on it since 10 years it means if you want to something or to be somebody you should work on it or dive deep in the ocean of the knowledge you want together about until you succeed keep watering yourself until you become a tree that you want yourself to be.

well I do not study more books but still I will recommend you guys book named "David Copperfield" by "Charles Dickens" I really can say that after reading this book your vocabulary will improve more quickly.

Sir Matt Morris tell to us that how we can get more information or knowledge and he also teach the reading technique.
1: to take the pen, book, righister and highlighter.
2:after that to start the reading carefully and slowly.

Q No1: What do you learn from this short interview of Matt Morris? Share at least 2 or 3 take aways.

Answer:
From this short interview of Matt Morris I learned that How to Read Books for Maximum Learning and remember the information for a long time... In this short clip, he shared his personal experience of reading and remembering books strategy. The strategy which he shared is that whenever he starts reading a book he take a highlighter to highlight the important information and rewrite those points (highlighted ones) in a notebook for better remembering and recalling.

TAKEAWAYS FROM THE VIDEO?
1) If you are an oak tree in a forest and you have the ability to water yourself. Similarly reading book is a kind of like you are watering himself... so by watering himself, you can produce the fruits of your efforts... so watering your mind consistently and following a specific process one can become a biggest tree in that forest.

2) “It's not an over night process” Everyone has to read many books and find a lot of information for success. Besides, There is no one book that you can read and that give you success...

Reading strategy according to Matt Morris:
#First, Take a highlighter to highlight the important information.

#Second, Use a general (notebook) to rewrite the highlighted points, and keep this note for better remembering, recalling and rereading...

In last, I would like to recommend a book to my classmate to read especially to Tanveer and Kaleem.
"SEVEN Habits of Highly Effective People" by Stephen Covey.

I learned from this short interview of Matt Morris that if you wanna huge success in your life find someone who has kind of success that you want. Figure out how they did it?Do the same things and you get same results. One of the greatest thing is learn from others. The second thing that i learned is the method of reading means how to read a book that you do not forget it. Gotta a book gotta Gernal copy gotta a pen and highlighter. Go throughout the book as i reading looking for golden nuggets of information. Yes if you highlight the points you remember them little bit more but if you rewrite them that sinks in your mind. Third thing if you want something valuable in your life. It is not over night process you have to work continuously. Water your mind it gonna produce the fruit of those efforts.

when ever you start reading a book look for the golden nugets(informative sentences or paragraphs) and keep a highlighter with your self to heighlight these main points.
2nd
you really have to keep a separate notebook to write these informative substances separately it will help you if you later search for that information

I recommend my peers to read a novel named as
1984 By GEORGE ORWELL.

I have watched so many videos about the methods of reading books in an affective way,but I found this video so amazing, because it is to the point not so short nor long.
In a nut shell I can say that it is the best video for the people who are pursuing the systematic way of reading.

And I learnt so many things from this lecture (video),but the first best point is highlighting the crux of a book and the authentic information to remember and also to write in a journal or in a common notebook, because without using this method we can't remember the things for long.
And exactly I found this in myself ,because I have read and studied so many books but hardly I remeber the 20% of those books now.
And the second important thing is that we can be successful with the help of reading no matter how low we are now.
Because Reading is the sign of success and leadership.

I have learnt useful and informative lesson from the short interview of Matt Moriss .
the strategies which i have got from Interview.
1.getting serious to reading book.
2.to know the purpose of reading book.
3.to highlight the important meterial and preparing the notes .
So I will suggest the most important and beneifcial strategies to my peers
we have to be well aware about the purpose of selecting books? what i am going to gain from this book ?
by this strategy we will know our purpose and refuse needless things.

with highlighting an Important lines and to write these in notebook we will be able to have our own book shape meterial .
and we will be able to Re-read these notes in short time .
To know about writer ,,book is the collection of writers thoughts ,,It is not important what is being said ,,but who is saying what?
for example,,some people writes book even though they neither have successful life nor experience ,,this kinds of books are mere collection of words .
Allama syed Sulaiman nadvi sayed ''Read for best ,Never read less then best''.

Well ,
It was really helpful video for a fresh reader , majority of the readers have a temporary process where they forget what they have read before because there is no retrieval of that thing .
The way Matt Moriss guided us is really beneficial for us and he told us his several strategies of own reading ,
He first takes it serious and thinks for catching the purpose of the reading and then he highlights the main lines in his general books , where not only he doesn't forget it easily but he can memorize it any time too , because he has noted it .

I consider it the best way of reading a book and hopefully i will own this process in upcoming times insha Allah .
Guys :
i want to recommend U a book ( آنسؤوں کا سمندر ) it is not related to any emotional poetry or novel but it is based on daily life according to Islam , where this book will stop you from any kind of sin and guide you under the shadow of Islam .
You all are requested to not skip this book but read it must . if you people read it i hope you will bring many changes in your daily life ,
But you will have to read it with full concentration .

This short interview is really phenomenal and very precious. Matt Morries shared a articulative trick intervouns to reading books skill which brought revolution in his life.
I learnt many points specially a worth strategy trick that whenever and wherever you read a book; you should highlighte the golden words then rewrite key words in your general book that assist you to recall the words for long time and you will memories for long period. Before this I had reading comprehension method named SQ3R trick survey, question read, rewrite and review now both will lead me towards prosperity and become a good reader.
Matt Morries says, "Same do and get same results" If we do his trick ,hope so same reusult will be in our favour.Book As a acronym means big ocean of knowledge and as tree needs water for grow; we (our mind) requries book for grooming, grow and knowledge this will lead towrads well to do.
I suggest a book to my all classmates specially Shoukat Aziz and Waqas Ahmed named is "impossible possible"

I learned from this video how to read a book and how to get knowledge from that book his best method from gaining knowledge from the book is read the book carefully and write highlight important lines or quotes or points then rewrite those points on your notebook so that you can not forget those points and then again read again those points which you have written on your notebook then again find out main points and highlights those main points that will be the knowledge or summary of that book it is the best and easiest way to find the summary of the book and gain knowledge from that book
One more thing i learned from this video that is our mind is tree and it needs nourishment and food for growing and food for that tree is reading book , gaining knowledge And Learning. By the help of this we can water our mind and get fruits from our mind mean we can be best in everything if we follow the same process

Mr.Matt Morris shares his experience with us that someone should have a pen, notebook of important tips and a highlighter during reading a text.If there is any difficult to understand encircle the word /phrase with a highlighter, and the same tips write in notebook then,re-read such points carefully. In this way,you will learn theses tips forever, and there is no chance to forget it.At last,he compare human mind to a tree.If a person waters atree in a jungle regularly,The same tree Will fruitful and energetic than the other trees. Similarly ,if you learn often ,your mind will be active and healthy like that tree.

In the life every buddy has made rule and regulations for own self in every spear and every buddy like to have success and follow the easiest way over here the discussion is about how to read a book? Rrading is not hard getting or taking out the information from that and keep remembering for ever is quite hard.
This Matt Morris video was totaly based on the strategy of how to read a book? The strategy that he shared is quite expensive becouse knwoledge is also like a plant when you are giving water that is growing when you stop giving water so that die the same case is with knowledge if you are repeating the important points you have underlined or highlighted you will never ever forget. That person is successful sccording to matt morris who reads and then according to a specific strategy not forget .
I will follow his strategy becouse when some one reads a book he or she can forget that reading but when they write their self they forget that hardly.
At last matt morris said that keep reading tie a specific strategy and do success.

Definitely, Matt Morris's strategy that how to read books for maximum learning is really spectacular.
Earlier, I had issue in learning books , I couldn't read ,tried many ways but couldn't succeed in reading books for maximum learning, eventually, I applied the strategy to highlight the most integral points which helped me alot .
But one problem 🤔, there are too many difficult words , searching the meaning of all difficult words take too much time and it often causes me persistent headache due to which I mostly stop reading such heavy books .

Any suggestion ?

Recently, I applied the method of Matt Morris which really worked . Earlier I couldn't read books because of multifarious difficult words and I would forget the first portion after going to 2nd portion, due this problem I stopped reading books for long time . Recently, after following Matt Morris' strategy, I found a bite change in me .

I have read some books but I don't exactly remember the authors. Recently I read one book(pride and prejudice, a novel by Jane Austen) which most of you may have already read .
Those who have not read it yet, should read . Firstly, it's short . Secondly, it will be in your course in the following semesters.

No doubt, reading books helps your brain to be more active, strengthen the brain  and  it gives your brain a different kind of workout than watching TV and listening to the radio. Reading helps you to find out the new real YOU, gives you a different prospective of life. Reading also increase empathy, prevents cognitive decline l, reduces stress, aids sleep and alleviates depression.

By watching this video i really liked the strategy of Matt morris. I love to read books but i have difficulties in understanding and remembering the important points of the books. But, now i will apply this strategy of Matt morris and i am sure it will help me alot in remembering the important points  of the book.

At last , I want to recommend a book " The art of happiness " by Dalai Lama.

I had read this book and its very interesting. There is not a person I know who is not in the pursuit of happiness.

The Art of Happiness is a book that will encourage you to practice the discipline of self-reflection.The more you reflect on your life, the deeper you look into your inner self (your soul). This is where you discover what happiness truly means to you.

Knowing what happiness means to you, gives you purpose. With purpose, you’ll have clarity, focus, and a vision. These are the foundations that will empower you to embark on the journey to change your life.

BEHIND TIME...........SO SORRY...
'' The wise man belongs to all countries, for the home of a great soul is the whole world.'' (DEMOCRITUS)
What he(DEMOCRITUS) is meant here; is as clear as the sky at a pleasant and clear shiny day in around March. We hafta follow Matt Morris' book reading strategy besides looking forward to seeking more strategies because on mature reflection what I personally observed in him, were his thoughts quite distant from the theory of vagueness from the actual process of memorizing things.
THIS IS THE VERACITY; I in my curriculum vitae as academically observed and assessed have read the least books which an infant can do the calculation easily but I was, am and will ever remain a bibliophile.
To be frank, my eyes are out on stalks having seen my dear colleagues this much delighted and eager to share such informative and screamingly educative books.
For sure, this least number of my read books can not make anyone soar high into sky as was mentioned by Mr.Matt Morris. Exactly what I heard and gave my mind kind of ease in remembering things from Matt Morris is in fact hidden in the diversity of the books we read to search for the righteous path.

Mam sorry for late assignment. Because of my uncle's death I wasn't able to submit my assignment in week 9,and I appologize for my Imprudence.
In the recommended video i saw Matt Morris introducing himself as a writer, author and a good reader. The way he described "how to read a book" was appreciable.
My first take away is that "he said that rewriting points before highlighting them is a good idea because we do forget them when when we do not rewrite them. So rewriting before highlighting them is a genius idea. "
My second take away must be that"when he showed us his journels full of knowledge. I was amazed that how much knowledge did he just collected and another moment when he amazed me was when he said am working on it since 10 to 12 years still he was saying that I should start it more sooner. I got very inspire the way he explained that If you want to achieve the purpose you should do work hard without giving time, or working hard you won't be able to be, what do you want yourself to be."
And my last takeaway is that he gave example of an old tree he compared us with that old trees. So I have decided I'll keep watering myself untill I'll become a tall and a prominent tree in a forest

From this short interview of Matt Morris I personally learned many things, but as per the task I will share only two or three take aways.

In this short clip Mr. Matt Morris is sharing his personal strategy of reading. The strategy which is following by him from last 8 years is very useful.

Replying on behalf of Khadija...

Amazing video. I personally come to know that in this video the person named as Matt Morris is sharing his own experience and strategies of reading. According to him, “if you are an oak tree in the forest and you had the ability to water yourself, see reading a book is kind of growth process, it’s how you water yourself, so if you water you mind it’s going to produce the fruit of those efforts”. In simple words, it means that for going to be successful in business or any other field one have to watered a lot himself about that specific field. Besides, the strategy of reading which he shared is very useful because if one is  following the same method he/she can easily recall those noted information again.

I recommend a novel
A passage to india by
E.M. Forster wrote after multiple trips to the country throughout his early life. The book was published in 1924 and follows a Muslim Indian doctor named Aziz and his relationships with an English professor, Cyril Fielding, and a visiting English schoolteacher named Adela Quested. When Adela believes that Aziz has assaulted her while on a trip to the Marabar caves near the fictional city of Chandrapore, where the story is set, tensions between the Indian community and the colonial British community rise. The possibility of friendship and connection between English and Indian people, despite their cultural differences and imperial tensions, is explored in the conflict. The novel’s colorful descriptions of nature, the landscape of India, and the figurative power that they are given within the text solidifies it as a great work of fiction.
