My understanding about the is the study of internal structure of the words.
Means how the words are formed to make a sentence of a speech, and for this we use the term "morpheme" which is the smallest meaningful unit of a language. It provides us the real structure to words by its usage in a sentence and tries to distinguish between meaningful and meaningless word structure.
