Well, morphology seems to be a compararively easy topic, wheras the former topics which concerned phonetics were a bit novel. However, it is only through understanding morphology that we get to have a proper understanding how words become, what factors are involved in making words, and how do we get to have a different meaning for each type of word. As an example, we might say that a word as commonly used as boys has two morphemes; later what morphemes are is also a process which comes to be understood throught studying morphology. To make it short, morphology is all about the way words are formed and their structure and so on and so forth.
